The terms and conditions can be amended by our regulatory team according to the policy requirement and they become effective immediately from the date of modification.

MONDAY TO FRIDAY DELIVERY TIMINGS

Place your orders before 2.00 PM (of your time zone) to receive a same day hassle free delivery. If your orders are placed after the requested time, the delivery will be fulfilled the following day only. Deliveries between 9.00AM to 7.00 PM are for residential addresses and deliveries for work addresses fall between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. On busy days and events such as Mother's day, Valentine's day and Christmas, the delivery timings might get extended.

Few remote areas and locations might not receive same day delivery. Flowers & Petals will contact you and try their best alternative delivery options for such cases. Certain deliveries need to get collected from the nearest accessible location. Our florists will contact you for the same. For all deliveries and cases, if you don't want the recipient to be contacted, kindly mention your number and name as the primary point of contact.

Flowers & Petals offers you an exclusive service to choose a preferred time of delivery. Three active options are AM, PM or ASAP. However, we do not guarantee the delivery preferences will be achieved at all times. Flowers & petals encompass a vast network of local florists spread across Australia which promises to deliver the freshest breeds of flowers available. Please make a note, at times an order might not get delivered within your preferred time due to local reasons.

If the flowers have to be delivered for a scheduled event such as wedding, conference or a funeral, kindly contact our team to do their best to assist you. An alternative address is recommended in case the delivery is running late for the scheduled event.

SATURDAY DELIVERY TIMINGS

Place your orders before 10.00 A.M (of your time zone) to receive a same day hassle free delivery. If your orders are placed after the requested time, the delivery will be fulfilled the following business day only. Deliveries between 9.00AM to 3.00 PM are for residential addresses and deliveries for work addresses fall between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. SUNDAY DELIVERY TIMINGS

Preference for a Sunday delivery is generally not available; however in this case please contact us 3 days prior to the date of delivery to confirm the order.

PUBLIC HOLIDAY DELIVERIES

Flower deliveries on public holidays are generally unavailable due to suspension of several courier services on such dates. The orders received on a public holiday will be delivered on the next working day without prior notice to the recipient.

Sunday and public holiday deliveries are not applicable to busy floral events (weddings, conferences, Christmas)

'WE MISSED YOU' DURING DELIVERY

As our priced customer, please make sure that the recipient is present at the address during the floral delivery.

We will contact you through the phone number mentioned on the order form before delivery, if the contact number in unavailable, we will deliver you the order on the specified location, date and time.

If you or the recipient is not present to receive the floral delivery, we will leave a 'we missed you' card at your doorstep. Kindly contact us or the concerned supplier to re-schedule your delivery.

If the customer or recipient replies to the 'we missed you' card, flowers and petals will get back to them with the best dates of delivery. Additional charges will be applicable for delivering the gifts more than once. Also, the recipient could collect their orders from the florist in such cases.

If our customers don't want their orders to be left at a specified address, kindly mention this information in the special instructions section on the order form.

FEES AND CHARGES

A processing fee is added in the final amount of the order.

A remote location delivery will require additional payments for delivery due to varying cost of the flowers in those areas. For information on such costs for any specific areas, kindly contact us.

NON DELIVERIES

we have vowed a hassle free delivery to you with the freshest flowers in town but deliveries of an item might not be guaranteed due to the following reasons:-

  • Customer or recipient does not accept the delivery
  • Location or address on the order form is incorrect
  • Recipients are not present in the location and have not received the 'we missed you' card left by us

In any of the above mentioned cases, we will assume the delivery has been made with the best of our efforts.

CANCELLATIONS

Flowers and Petals cannot cancel deliveries that have already been ordered by the recipients. This policy applies even if the floral product has not been delivered.

REFUNDS

Refunds do not fall in our regulatory policy, however, we take each customer's query into consideration and the decision for refund will be on a case by case basis. Alternatives such as re-scheduling of the same delivery or resending a different item of the same price can be done.

DIFFICULT DELIVERIES/ TIME-LOCATION-TRAFFIC-CLIMATE-EVENTS

Few deliveries become tedious due to several reasons which can occur at the time of dispatched order.

We advise our customers to specify a secondary address for our suppliers for an event or delivery.

Deliveries to remote areas might incur an extra cost which is the responsibility of the customer to pay. This additional price is mandatory in these cases.

Kindly note, if the alternate address for delivery is in a different area which requires the services of a different supplier, payment to the initial supplier would have to be borne by the company. This may lead to non-assistance in delivering the product at the present location changed by our customer. Hence, we request swift changes in delivery locations can be avoided by our customers for their comfort and our cost recovery.

Few products are perishable in nature, hence we avoid delivering flowers and products to PO Boxes or locked bag addresses

Delivery to the following events is not guaranteed.

  • Weddings
  • Parties
  • Funerals
  • Functions

Deliveries to the following places are not guaranteed.

  • Hotel
  • Jails
  • Ships
  • Hospitals
  • Army, Airforce and Naval Bases
  • Mines
  • High security buildings
TIMED DELIVERIES

Various reasons can occur during the delivery of a product which might delay the order. We do provide an option of ASAP but we do not guarantee that the time line will be achieved under various circumstances. Few cases might not get delivered due to local reasons; however we offer you the best networks of florists with the best breeds of flowers in town.

We request our customers to prefer the AM or PM option but if the ASAP option is important to your situation, we will try to make those deliveries during local hours only.

Also note, it is possible but usually not guaranteed to deliver on a Saturday afternoon or a public holiday or a Sunday.

If the product has to be delivered for an event like wedding or funeral, kindly recommend an alternate address so the flowers can be delivered for the event in case of a delay. Flowers and petals won’t be able to assist with a redirection if the alternate delivery address is in a different location requiring the services of a different supplier.

ALCOHOL POLICY

It is illegal to supply alcohol in Australia to persons less than 18 years of age. Similar conditions are seen in other countries. Flowers and petals do not take any responsibility in this regard and the customers shall receive the deliveries ensuring that they comply with the law in such cases.

Flowers and petals do not guarantee delivery of alcohol with purchase of products from our website. Following are the cases-

  • Few countries or states have laws that restrict the delivery of alcohol
  • Florists require an alcohol license in few countries to deliver products with alcohol
  • Flowers and petals are unable to guarantee the customer of the product is over the legal age in the country or state.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

Flowers and petals comprises of a worldwide network of florists to deliver you fresh flowers at any location. Our endeavor sets a benchmark in creating high standards to deliver our customers quality products in an efficient time span policy.

A quality complaint can be filed within 2 weeks of delivery. This quality complaint could include poor quality product, wrong items delivered, expired items and so on. An attached soft or hard copy of a photograph is highly recommended to resolve the complaint.

Non-delivery complaints are requested within one month from delivery date. Complaints received after a month from the delivery date shall be considered, however compensation is not guaranteed.

EXTRA DELIVERY CHARGES

In case of remote locations, we might require an extra delivery charge. Kindly contact us for further details.
